If you take E-Vreet before you take your first Biblical Hebrew course in college, you will be ahead of the game.  By learning Biblical Hebrew with E-Vreet, you will understand some basic grammatical concepts intuitively.  You will be ready to learn the vowel dots or niqud because you will already know the letters of the alphabet and how they sound.

This course doesn't teach Biblical Hebrew using the traditional methods.   It uses the Hebrew spiral method of teaching instead of the linear approach.  This means that you learn a little and you learn it again with a few new things.  E-vreet is not afraid of repeating information.

Yes.  This course will compliment whatever your rabbi is teaching you in learning Biblical Hebrew.  It teaches you the alphabet and how to read Biblical Hebrew.  It will prepare you to be able to read scripture and say prayers in Biblical Hebrew.

Is Biblical Hebrew like Modern Hebrew?

Biblical Hebrew is different than Modern Hebrew, but the Hebrew alphabet is the same.  Learning Biblical Hebrew will help you learn Modern Hebrew.

According to some of the latest research for beginners, it is easier to learn how to read Biblical Hebrew without the niqud if the Biblical Hebrew is taught in context.  You can always learn the niqud in other Biblical Hebrew courses.
